IMPLEMENTATION

TRACKING PROGRESS Each element of the Comprehensive Plan includes a set of measurable objectives. These considerations are intended to measure changes that are desired as a result of the goals and actions associated with each goal. A target metric will be identified and defined for each objective including the data source and methodology. P&DS will update annually the objective measurements to track the success of the Plan. In addition, tracking of implementation by mapping and otherwise illustrating which major actions (from Section 2) and places (from Section 3) have been implemented. The Oversight Committee will define the methodology for measurement and tracking of the objectives. The Committee should also provide direction on who (e.g. which department, agency, or organization) is responsible for tracking of each objective. A compiled list of suggested objectives and metrics is provided in an Appendix. In addition, the City should establish an ongoing tool to analyze the “fiscal sustainability,” defined as the long-term public cost obligations and fiscal productivity, of new development proposals.
