TRANSPORTATION ELEMENT Existing Policy and Programs · San Marcos Transportation Master Plan ; City of San Marcos, 2018 · San Marcos Transportation Corridors Study ; City of San Marcos and the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO), 2022 · Capital-Alamo Connections Study ; Texas Department of Transportation, Study Finalized in 2019 · Transit Plan ; City of San Marcos, 2019 development of transportation infrastructure in the City of San Marcos by outlining improvements that will help to enhance transportation safety, minimize congestion, preserve local character, and protect the rivers and the San Marcos environment. Goals identified in the plan include a comprehensive and integrated transportation network that is multimodal, compact, and sustainable. This plan was adopted by City Council in December 2018.
