An On-Street Paid Parking Program Implementation Plan is currently under review as of the date of this plan (2023) with the Parking Advisory Board. It provides guidance to the City for how to move forward with the phased implementation of paid parking recommendations from the Parking Program Framework Plan. A proposed Downtown Parking Benefit District would create a geographic area from which a percentage of the future net meter revenue could be dedicated to investment in the Downtown area to implement and fund parking initiatives. This funding source would be a tool to implement many of the recommendations of the Downtown Area Plan.
